Going "green" at Decca means purchasing wood harvested from sustainable sources and using renewable energy wherever possible. It means minimizing waste, reducing emissions and providing a safe, healthy workplace for our employees. Decca is constantly considering everything we do - from sourcing materials, product design, packaging and shipping. We feel these initiatives are necessary to our future as a business and to our identity as a responsible citizen of the global community.

Green Achievements

Greenguard Certified

On 13 January 2009, we proudly announced that Decca was the first Asian-based manufacturer to receive the GREENGUARD^® certification for our office furniture and hospitality furniture products. Decca's products have been tested for their chemical emissions performance and are now Greenguard Indoor Air Qualify Certified as low emitting furnishings. This achievement assures customers that Decca's products can contribute points to fulfill the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED^TM rating system and the Green Building Initiative's Green Globes rating system.

Decca casegoods are GreenGuard certified. An industry independent third party testing program for low emitting products and materials.

All certified products are listed on the GREENGUARD website.

Greenguard certification is an important tool for architects, designers and product specifiers who want to specify low-emitting products to meet new guidelines for green-built environments.
