For this project we worked closely with Lisa Miao of Taylor Howes to develop a number of key pieces for the public areas. The lobby has two large curved sofas, with matching curved consoles behind them.
For the spa area we worked with the Taylor Howes design team to develop a cabanna using marine ply and quick drying foam.
The fun part of this project was creating ‘The Golden Unicorn’. The logo for One Kensington was created from a printed logo and then re-scaled so that it could be produced in stainless steel and then PVD coated to match the metalwork with the rest of the scheme.

We customised our standard Occasional Console by changing the gun metal powder-coated base with a PVD coated stainless steel which allowed us to get a more metallic brushed brass finish. The metal work then works well with the wall installations and accessories used throughout this project. This console was used in the public areas and can also be seen in the lobby area in the top image.

One of the larger pieces was a bespoke boardroom table, which has a single piece of white carerra marble with a PVD coated pedestal base surrounded by a high gloss timber frame. We made a modified version of this table for the new office/studio of Taylor Howes - Cheval Place.
Last but not least, we also customised our standard Bolier coffee table by changing the standard round shape to oval.
